Look forward to post crisis packages that are affordable for everyone soon!

In efforts to slow down the spread of coronavirus, countries around the world have imposed measures such as self-isolations, quarantines, restricted movement, and lock-downs to curb the spread of Covid-19

During this time, the workforce is relying on telecommuting or videoconferencing to communicate with colleagues and work from home. The good news is, post-crisis, these measures could finally make “work from home” options finally become a more acceptable work culture in organisations moving forward. Not only will this ease rush hour traffic and stress, but also reduce pollution and increase flexibility for working parents to manage their families. However, right now, social distancing and isolation have come suddenly, leaving many people scrambling to deal with disruptions and isolation that follows.

We are fortunate to live in an era where technology allows us to see and hear our friends and family, even from a distance with apps like Skype, FaceTime, Telegram, and WhatsApp but Human beings are social animals with biological, psychological, and social systems that thrive in collaborative networks of people. Therefore, the few weeks of isolation and work from home can have countless negative effects on our mind, body, and brain.

According to a recent article on ScienceInsider, The effects of social isolation can increase the risk of a variety of health problems, including heart disease, depression, dementia, and even death.

Meanwhile, “V” encourages you to use this time to reflect, regroup, rethink your life, health, your mind, body, and spirit. Look out for our “Re – Invent” offers in April 2020.
